The pool is 7 x 4 meters and is heated in winter.
Punta Mujeres is a very picturesque little village located on the coast north of Lanzarote. Famous among the locals for its natural pools which are sheltered from the open sea, extending over 2 km from the coast just in front of this property. The only traces of artificial development here are the inconspicuous access steps and handrails that blend into the volcanic rock, ideal for those who prefer to walk slowly, instead of jumping into crystal clear pools. Although a very small village, Punta Mujeres has a surprising number of small supermarkets and a bakery, as well as local restaurants, all within easy walking distance from your home.
Hidden from all commercial tourism and modern development in Lanzarote, Punta Mujeres is well located for enjoying the best attractions on the island. Without knowing it, most tourists pass nearby by going to the most visited tourist centers, such as “Jameos del Agua” and La “Cueva de los Verdes”.
Other essential attractions nearby are “the cactus garden”, “the Mirador del Rio”, Haría and its valley with a thousand palm trees. Haría offers a local craft market on Saturday mornings, which is well worth a visit, even if you come and sit and have a coffee and watch the hustle and bustle of locals in this picturesque square. César Manrique, the famous artist and architect, whose vision shaped much of Lanzarote, had his house and his studio in Haría, which is now a museum dedicated to his life, work and heritage. “Casa-Museo César Manrique” is well worth a visit.
