SoTradesForYou was created by two French expatriates living in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands in 2012. Upon arrival they fell for the charm of the Canary Islands and in particular fell in love with discovering and appreciating the uniqueness of Lanzarote with their family and friends and clients who vacation on this beautifully unique island.
In 2014, SoTradesForYou was created. An agency dedicated to the organization of tailor-made stays, as well as the sale of real estate in Lanzarote.
Having received many requests from those around them to organize special events such as birthdays, weddings plus hen and stag parties in Lanzarote, the SoTradesForYou agency is now opening a corporate events department, delivering bespoke events and hospitality such as business seminars, team building, incentives and organization of company birthdays etc…
Lanzarote is a unique place to discover. The island is bright, wild, spectacular and stunningly preserved. This easternmost of the Canary Islands it remains one of its best kept secrets.
Then island of eternal spring takes you on a journey to a land formed by fire, offering you a diverse landscape 845km2 to explore at your leisure. Shaped by the winds and waves of the Atlantic, 140 kilometres from the African coast and 1,000 kilometres from Spain. Central Lanzarote is dominated by solid black rivers of lava and volcanoes, with more than three hundred gaping craters. This Luna landscape has inspired Hollywood and worldwide filmmakers to use its evocative scenery to create some of the most memorable moments in film history. Depending on the hour, light and the course of the clouds, Lanzarote has been able to draw on all the elements to forge a unique identity.
The architect César Manrique, the most famous of its benefactors, spoke of it as a “work of art without frame and without limits”. Lanzarote is also synonymous with “knowing how to live well”. It has always valued a diverse and generous cuisine, made with fresh and often organic products. Many towns have their own morning market, which offer an assortment of fresh fish line caught on the coast, goats cheese, a myriad of fruits and vegetables and not forgetting the beautiful wine unique to the island.
Expanses of lush white sand which frame the islands most popular resorts stretch for miles. With breath-taking lagoons of turquoise waters, wild coves on the edge of a foaming sea by fields of black sand and rolling dunes. The 85 beaches of Lanzarote cultivate the art of a paradox. We glide between the harshness of the setting, its juxtaposing elements and the sweetness of life. At Papagayo Beach, you can feel a bit of the hippie atmosphere that reigned in the 1970s. At Caleta de Famara, a small resort favoured on weekends by the residents of the capital and surfers who you can admire or join attacking the waves, a powerful atmosphere and experience.
To the north of the island of Lanzarote, in Orzola, a boat can take you to taste the sublime expanses of the island of La Graciosa. A tiny atoll rising from the sea, separated from north to south by five volcanic peaks embraced by sky and water.
